Ain Dubai
Ain Dubai is the world’s tallest observation wheel, rising over 250 metres above Bluewaters Island. Its 48 air-conditioned cabins provide panoramic views across Dubai and accommodate up to 1,750 guests.

Hyundai Engineering and Construction
Starneth contributed specialist observation-wheel design and engineering to Ain Dubai under a subcontract arrangement with Hyundai Engineering and Construction, the project’s main contractor.

Engineering context
At over 250 metres, the wheel required its rim, spoke tension, hub geometry, support structure and cabin systems to be resolved at landmark scale.
Its waterfront setting on Bluewaters Island placed the structure in a demanding marine and thermal environment while also shaping access, assembly and logistics planning.
The completed wheel combines a large cable-supported rim with 48 air-conditioned cabins and a passenger capacity of up to 1,750 people.

Starneth contribution
Starneth contributed specialist observation-wheel design and engineering under a subcontract arrangement with Hyundai Engineering and Construction, the project’s main contractor.
Clear scope boundaries are essential on a project of this scale because structural design, systems engineering, construction execution and site delivery remain distinct responsibilities.
